STATE TIMES NEWS KALAKOT: Realising the need of wider role of women in running the family, the army conducted 20-day two wheeler cadre for women folk at Kalakot of Rajouri district, which concluded on Sunday. A total of 10 women were trained. During the cadre, these women were imparted with theoretical as well as practical aspects of two wheelers. The populace of Kalakot conveyed their gratitude for this innovative idea of the army in improving the quality of life of women folk. The women trainees said that the professional skills imparted to them will help them become independent and they would be able to efficiently run their family in today’s dynamic society.
