STATE TIMES NEWSRAJOURI: Army organised an “Interaction with the Next of Kin (NOK) and Ex-Servicemen” of Kandi, Kotranka, Lunidarman, Badhal, Gadyog, Khawas, Draj, Draman, Samote, Targain and adjoining areas at Samote in Rajouri District. A total of 36 Veer Naris, veterans and dependents attended the interaction. Indian Army reassured the veterans about Indian Army’s commitment to look after the well being of the Veer Naris, veterans and their dependents and assured them of all possible assistance. Important policies, welfare schemes and facilities entitled to them were also disseminated. Veer Naris, veterans and their dependents expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude towards Indian Army for this noble initiative for remembering them and looking after their grievances. Overwhelming response of the event will help in maintaining a good relationship of trust and faith between Indian Army and the Veer Naris, veterans and their dependents.
