STATE TIMES NEWS KISHTWAR: In an endeavour to build and strengthen upon existing bonds of friendship between public and Indian Army, a Communal Harmony Meet was organised at Shergwari. The meet was aimed at promoting regular engagement of religious leaders of all communities in the region. A total of 43 locals, elders and key opinion makers of the area attended the meeting. The gathering was informed about various initiatives taken by the Army for the development of the region through various projects and also commitment of the Indian Army to stand with the local populace. The message of the meet, peace and harmony and to live with bonhomie in the region was appreciated by every participant. The local populace also stated that conduct of such constructive efforts by the Army will go in a long way to promote brotherhood and communal harmony in the region.
