State Times News NOWSHERA: Twelve students and two teachers from remote areas of Nowshera tehsil of Rajouri District were flagged off as part of an Educational/Motivational Tour to Nagrota, Mohali, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana by the Army. The 11 days tour will include visiting various historical and tourist places along with select educational institutions of repute. The tour was flagged off by Brigadier Rajeev Menon, Commander, Tain based Sector Headquarters in presence of Principal Degree College Nowshera and army officers. The tour is aimed to give participants an exposure of the vast but diverse culture of our country as well as give an insight into the plethora of educational and socio-economic life outside the state of Jammu and Kashmir. This tour will also help the students to broaden their horizon which will be further prorogated to the society. It will provide them an opportunity to witness the immense development in other parts of the country and learn as well as implement the ideas in the home state. Speaking at the flagging off ceremony, the Commander of the Tain based Sector Headquarters, said that the excursion will leave a lasting impact on these young minds.
