KISHTWAR: Army as part of empowerment programme conducted a General Duty Health Assistance Course at Youth Employment Guidance Node (YEGN) Kishtwar from April 5 to August 9, 20 18.
The aim of the empowerment programme was to equip the candidates with adequate knowledge, technical skills and attitude necessary in various fields to generate meaningful employment/self upliftment opportunities for the locals.
A total of 15 men and 15 women candidates hailing from far flung areas of Kishtwar region benefited from the same. The training was imparted by professionally competent instructors.
The youth expressed their gratitude towards the army for the noble initiative and for providing an opportunity to them to acquire skills for employment which can further be developed into a profession and a means of decent livelihood.
