Mumbai: With his debut film “Saaransh” clocking 31 years today, actor Anupam Kher took to Twitter to reminisce about his three decades in the film industry.
Kher, 60, who made an unconventional debut as an aged father, said the journey has been amazing for him.
“Today I complete 31 yrs in Film Industry. It has been the most amazing journey since SAARANSH. Happy Birthday to me,” Kher posted on Twitter.
The “Baby” actor also shared a collage of his dearest memories in the last 31 years including his outing with Hollywood star Robert De Niro and his stint as a talk show host.
“Glimpses of #ThirtyOneAnupamYears,” he captioned the picture.
Mahesh Bhatt, who directed the 1984 drama, tweeted, “Today 31 years ago this enduring classic SAARANSH was released & a star was born! @AnupamPkher.”
“Saaransh” is about an elderly Maharashtrian couple living Mumbai, who try to come to terms with the death of their only son in a mugging incident in New York. It stars Rohini Hattangadi, Soni Razdan and Madan Jain besides Kher.
