State Times News RAJOURI: As a part of the initiative to make the district Rajouri free of single use plastic, a major anti-polythene drive was conducted today here across the district. The drive was conducted by the Tehsildars in their respective tehsils and polythene below the specified standard was seized in large quantity. The officers during the drive appealed the people not to use polythene and opt for eco-friendly alternatives. The district wide drive was conducted on the directions of District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad to meet the target of making the district free of single used plastic.
