RAMBAN: Many a poor person including widows, destitutes, orphans and students were given alms by the Satguru Seva Trust under the aegis of Swami Bhuvneshvari Devi at the Gita Bhanav.
The Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Tariq Hussain Ganai who graced the occasion, gave away a suit each to 100 widows or destitutes, a bag of 5Kg rice to each of 100 poor including mostly the women, a bag containing 10 Kg flour to 50 beneficiaries and 5Kg flour besides some miscellaneous provision store to 50 poor persons and school uniforms to 50 poor students.
He also gave away total 20 chairs to three local private schools. Besides this a cheque of Rs.11,000 was given to a local renal patient, Naseeb Chand.
The donation function was held after the conclusion of a three day 27 th annual Ruhani Sant Sammelan organised by Swami Bhuvneshvari Devi here in the memory of Swami Rameshweranand ji Maharaj where in several prominent saints from.various north states participated in Bhajan-Keertan and Pravachans.
The Harikrishen Arora, President Satguru Seva Trust, Batote, Manager of the function Anandprakash Gupta, Tehslidar Srinath Suman, Naib-Tehsildar, Saifullah Shah, Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Satyadev Singh Bandral, Sanjay Gupta, President, Beopar Mandal,Nishu Gupta, President, Sanatan Dharm Sabha, Batote, Rajneesh Pargal, Vice President, Beopar Mandal, Vijay Gupta, Manoj Arora and several prominent local citizens were among prominent persons present on the occasion.
