JAMMU: A Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasnathakumar and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat granted two weeks time to Centre to file reply while hearing the public interest litigation (PIL) filed by former President of Chamber of Commerce and Industries Y.V Sharma highlighting high air fare charged by airlines from Jammu to other destinations.
The PIL has sought cap on air fare and make airlines accountable for the delay of flights from Jammu.
Senior Advocate B.S Salathia along with Advocate Meenakshi Salathia appeared for the PIL whereas ASGI Sindu Sharma appeared for the Union of India and sought further time to file reply and granted last two weeks opportunity to file reply. JNF
