LEH: A team of more than 25 super specialist doctors from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi reached Leh on Tuesday.
Ashoka Mission in collaboration with LAHDC, Leh organised a week-long medical camp at SNM Hospital, Leh during which the doctors from AIIMS will render their services in treating the local patients.
CEC, Dorjey Motup, speaking on the occasion, expressed deep gratitude to the doctors from AIIMS for their visit to Ladakh for the noble cause of providing expert medical treatment to the people of Ladakh. He also thanked Lama Lobzang for his continuous effort in getting the super specialists of AIIMS to Leh every year without any fail since last 25 years. Executive Councilor Health, Gyal P Wangyal and CMO, Leh were also present. Mutup Kau and Tashi Angchuk for their immense contribution in making arrangements for the camp in Leh but also for their efforts in bringing needy patients to Delhi for emergency treatment at AIIMS.
