KATHUA: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Basholi, Sanjay Gupta today convened a public grievances redressal camp at Dhar Mahanpur to resolve the problems and difficulties faced by the people.
Several demands and issues were flagged during the meeting by the locals mainly pertaining to repair of approach road, sufficient and quality supply of power and water, repair of damaged transformers, plugging leakage of PHE pipelines, filling of vacant posts, construction of IHHLs, streamlining of PDS and non availability of nutritious items at Anganwari Centres and plantation of trees.
ADC listened to all the grievances patiently and directed the engineers of PWD/PMGSY to repair the roads on war footing and further directed AEE, PHE to plug leakage of PHE pipes besides restoring supply of potable water at water stressed areas.
For removing encroachments on State land and to increase vigil in the area, the ADC directed Tehsildar, Mahanpur, Jatinder Singh to evict the encroachers from State/Kah Charai/Forest/ Revenue land. He further directed BDO, Mahanpur to expedite the construction of IHHLs under SBM besides instruction were passed to the TSO to supply ration and kerosene oil in far flung areas without any delay.
During the camp PRCs, revenue extract, RBA certificate and other certificates were also distributed on the spot among the applicants by the ADC and the Tehsildar.
