Dear Editor, Road rage cases are much common these days. These mostly occur due to short temper, intolerant behaviour and egoism. Aggressive driving and over speeding causes traffic chaos and accidents. Drivers need to be patient while driving and must follow traffic rules. I believe that one should start driving 10 minutes early to save oneself from mishaps and should take alternative routes with less traffic to avoid any chaos. All these can reduce the risk of your life and of others on roads. These days’ cases of road rage occur as nobody wants to take the blame of damage onto him to avoid paying compensation of money. But the best way to avoid all this mess is that one should follow traffic rules while they are on the road. We should always go for a safe drive. Moreover, there is dire need of workshops for young drivers to let them know how to control anger while driving. Such workshops should be conducted frequently in schools and colleges to nip the rage in the bud itself to reduce such incidents in future. I strongly believe that if we follow these simple basic rules we can curb road rage cases and cat fights on roads and can reach our destination safely. D.P Singh (Raju), Jammu.
