STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Advocate Suresh Kumar Dogra, Chairman OBC Department PCC J&K on Tuesday said that the conversion of State into Union Territory and abrogation of article 370 and 35A is a complete violation of the Constitution and also a big fraud with the 52 per cent OBC population of the Jammu and Kashmir. Briefing media persons here, Advocate Suresh Kumar said as per the Jammu and Kashmir Re-organization Bill 2019, the Modi led Union Government has betrayed the innocent OBC population of the J and K, by not implementing Mandal Commission Report in the J&K, which is also a verdict of Supreme Court of India, in 1992. Dogra alleged, Home Minister of India, Amit Shah’s statement that by the formation of J&K as UT, the 52 per cent OBC population of Jammu and Kashmir would get maximum benefit, also stood a fake statement and the rules framed by Central Government are different and against OBC population of the J&K. “Speaker J&K Assembly Nirmal Singh and Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma are also misguiding the innocent OBC people,” he added. Dogra warned the Modi Government not to play with the fate of OBCs of J&K by not implementing Mandal Commission Report which guarantees 27 per cent reservation. He also demanded extension of National Commission for OBC in the J and K and give justice to the OBC masses. Among those who were present include Parshotam Lal Mehra State Vice Chairman, Vijay Kumar Verma State General Secretary, Abhisheikh Kumar Media Coordinator; Raj Kumar Mehra District General Secretary and Rajinder Kumar Verma, District Chairman, Sat Pal Keshyap, Bittu Verma, Sunny Keshyap and Surinder Kumar Sodhi.
