state times news KATHUA: In continuation to stringent actions against illicit liquor menace, Kathua Police on Sunday cracked down on illicit liquor, destroyed about 850 litres Lahan and seized 15 litres of illicit liquor packed in poly nips. Police teams during raids in village Mirpur Jaago and Dadoli in the jurisdiction of Police Post Nagri in Kathua destroyed 250 litres of Lahan and seized 15 litres of illicit liquor and also destroyed makeshift production units. Police teams also conducted series of raids in Village Mahrajpur Hariachak , village Changi Marheen, village Banyari and Backrak colony in the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajbagh and destroyed about 600 litres of Lahan on the spot and destroyed makeshift production units.
