RAMBAN: As many as 805 patients were examined,737 given free medicines and 156 were tested for various diseases during the two day free medical camp organised by the Hartej Hospital, Amritsar at the Sher-E- Kashmir Memorial Emergency Hospital in Batote on Thursday.
The camp was supervised by the Block Medical Officer, Batote, Dr.Shakil Ahmed Sumbria Gynecologist, Dr. Tejinder Kour,Neuro-Surgeon ,Dr. Amit Singh, Gastro and Laproscopic Surgeon, Dr. HS Nagpal, Orthopaedician Trauma Specialist, Dr. Manish and Medical Officer, Dr. Amrik Singh from the Hartej Hospital, Amritsar assisted by the local doctors who examined the patients and distributed medicines free of cost. The patients were provided the facility of clinical and other tests in the Batote hospital as per the government rates.
