BHADARWAH: Police on Tuesday foiled a bovine smuggler bid by rescuing eight bovines however smuggler managed to flee at Bhalla area
SDPO Bhadarwah, Birjesh Sharma said that acting on a specific information, SI Sunil Parihar IC PP Bhalla laid a Naka along with sleuths of SOG near Dharsoo village and intercepted a group of five persons along with some bovines moving under suspicious condition.
” Police tried to stop them but they managed to give a slip taking advantage of the darkness. However 8 bovine animals were rescued and the main culprit has been identified as Rehmat Ullah son of Abdul khaliq resident of village Dandi who was on way to Kashmir along with four others reportedly from the same village,” SDPO added.
Police has registered a case vide FIR No.104/17 under section 188 RPC 03 PCA act at Police Station Bhadarwah.
