RAJOURI: To provide various health services under Public Service Guarantee Act in the remotest parts of the district, two mega health camps were organized by Health Department at Dalheri and Gundah.
The camps were organised in the backdrop of commitments made by Development Commissioner Rajouri, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary during his public outreach programmes at Dalheri and Gundah on April 18, 2018.
The camps organized by Block Medical Officer Kalakote under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer, Dr Suresh Gupta. A total of 158 Certificates including 93 at Dalheri and 65 at Gundah were provided and 480 patients were examined and provided free medicines in the OPD conducted in both the villages.
The certificates such as old age and widow certificates for settling pension cases, disability and fitness certificates required for job and labour purposes were provided in the camps.
The camps were coordinated by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Koteranka Shafiq Ahmed.
He informed that two more such camps will be organized at Keri and Bhella on April 26, 2018.
