POONCH: Jammu and Kashmir Insaaf Movement (JKIM) on Thursday organised a public convention under the chairmanship of Javid Iqbal Reshi, the Chairman of the Movement to commemorate the public issues and its early redressal. In this convention R Shahpuri, M Rashid, Tanveer Ahmed, Saheem Jaffar, Akram Niak, Raja Sher Khan, Farooq Lone, Ajaz Katarya, M Sheikh, Azad Chouhan, Ajaz Sidiqui, Basharat Shah and others were also present.
Speaking on the occasion speakers demanded for early release of liable funds by PM for special flood 2014 package and releases of first/second/third instalments of flood 2014 victims who had lost their homes in flood and completion/ restoration of all damages bridges, roads, culverts and embankments including Drungli Bridge, Dalhan Bridge, Dehri-Nangali Sahib Road, Christ School Poonch to SK Bridge embankment, Marnote Sathra embankment, Kalai Chandak Bela embankments, Kalani protection wall and early completion of Timbra-Kalani Bridge and others damaged during the flood. Early releasing of liable funds under IAY scheme of financial year 2014-15 and other liable funds under MGNREGA, SDRF, BRGF, SBM and others Central/State Sponsored schemes.
