2 drug peddlers held in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substance from their possession.
Acting on specific information, a police party of Police Station Bandipora laid a Naka at Nowpora Chowk. During checking two persons identified as Ubaid Hussain Baba, resident of Plan and Wajahat Hussain Rana, resident of Gundpora, Bandipora were intercepted. On checking some contraband substances were recovered from their possession.
A case FIR number 69/2017 under Section 8/22 was registered against them and investigation was taken up.
