KATHUA: As many as 17 callers on Wednesday registered their grievances in ‘Prayas’; call-in programme of Kathua administration to listen to the grievances of the people telephonically here at DC Office complex in Kathua.
Pertinently under ‘Paryas’ all the district and sectoral heads of various departments remained present in the conference hall for the disposal of grievances of the people projected during one hour phone-in programme on every Wednesday.
During one hour session, people from different parts of the district projected their problems mostly related to the provision of basic amenities.
Responding to the issues projected by callers, DC Kathua Rohit Khajuria issued instructions to the officers present in the meeting for early redressal of people’s grievances.
DC Kathua also reviewed the disposal of the earlier registered grievances and directed officers to dispose of the grievances of the people within stipulated time.
