STATE TIMES NEWS SAMBA: Police on Tuesday foiled bovine smuggling bid by arresting a smuggler and rescued 16 bovines from his possession. According to a report, a team of Ghagwal Police station laid Naka on Jammu Pathankot National Highway near Tapyal Morh and intercepted a truck (JK02AL- 6689) which was coming from Kathua side. During the checking of vehicle, police found 16 bovines laden in the truck which were rescued. The accused driver identified as Balbir Singh, son of Kartar Singh, resident of Chatha Pind Tehsil and District Jammu was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 92/2019 under section 188 RPC 2/3 PCA Act was registered against him Police Station Ghagwal.
