STATE TIMES NEWS KATHUA: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kathua , Joint inspection was conducted by the Legal Metrology Department , FCS&CA , Food Safety , Revenue and Police at Govindsar Industrial area. LMD booked five erring traders for violation of Jammu and Kashmir Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act and Rules. Similarly FCS&CA booked six traders for violation of Essential Commodities Act while Food safety Department booked four cases under insanitary condition and also destroyed about 50 Kg rotten vegetables and fruits. Beside this Rs.4600 fine was also imposed on vegetable, fruit and chicken sellers on spot.
