State Times News SAMBA: Police on Sunday arrested 11 gamblers and recovered stake money of Rs 6,800 from their possession. Acting on specific information about gambling, a party of Police Station Ramgarh headed by Inspr. Kuldeep Raj , SHO Police Station Ramgarh under the supervision of Baljit Singh, SDPO Vijaypur raided the gambling site at Gho Rakwalan and arrested 11 gamblers alongwith stake money of Rs. 6800 and playing cards. The gamblers have been identified as Pritam Chand, son of Sewa Ram; Mela Ram, son of Govind Ram; Raja Singh, son of Ved Parkash; Som Dutt, son of Sansar Chand; Om Parkash, son of Gian Chand; Prithvi Pal, son of Behari Lal ; Rajesh Kumar, son of Karan Chand; Purav Singh, son of Nasib Singh; Bhagat Ram, son of Vedu Ram; Ghara Ram, son of Kapoor Chand all resident of Gho Rakwalan and Shishu Paul, son of Bhadur Singh resident of Nathwal. Taking cognizance into the matter, all the gamblers were booked under section 13 of Gambling Act at police station Ramgarh.
